Schengen VISA

The Schengen visa is required for a large number of foreign nationals who wish to enter the French territory, or any other country in the Schengen Area. This visa allows you to enter in a member country and travel throughout the Schengen area for a period not exceeding three months. However, some foreigners are exempt from visa: ask before initiating processes.

A short-stay visa

With a short-stay visa, called "Schengen visa", a foreign national can not stay in the Schengen area for more than three months in any six months. To stay in France beyond this period, obtaining a residence permit will be required. Visa and residence are different and complementary: a residence permit can not be issued in the absence of a visa that allowed entry into France or another member of the Schengen countries. The Schengen visa shall take a sticker. This sticker is affixed to the passport of the traveler by a Member State. The cost? € 60 per adult, € 35 for children 6 to 12 and free for children under 6 years.

Who is the Schengen visa?

The Schengen visa is required for all nationals from countries under the Schengen visa. It is rather for people traveling on holidays. It is also suitable in the case of a family visit or a business trip, for example. The foreign national may not work in France than it is in possession of a work permit.
