HOW TO OBTAIN A VISA Schengen?

The administrative procedures to obtain a Schengen visa may vary embassies or consulates.
So we hereby inform you the main formalities.

Foreign nationals must apply before their departure to the French consular authorities (or any other country in the Schengen Area) to apply for a Schengen visa. A folder by visa applicant is required.

The Embassy or Consulate specify the complete list of documents required, the procedures and the fees to be paid.

In all cases, a passport whose validity is greater than 3 months from the date of the requested visa is required, and an application form for short-stay visa completed and signed, along with passport photos.

Necessary supporting documents:

- Supporting documentation in relation to the purpose of stay in the Schengen area,
- Supporting documents regarding means of subsistence for the living and housing conditions,
- Supporting a Schengen insurance valid in all countries of the Schengen area,
- Guarantees of repatriation to the country of residence (return ticket or sufficient personal resources to acquire it)
- Any document to convince the consular authority of the intention to leave the Schengen area at the expiration of the visa.
